Job Description

Core Team Manager responsible for improving operational reliability in mission-critical environments at CyrusOne. Leading multidisciplinary teams to enhance incident response and operational processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Central Operations Resilience and Engineering team, including engineers and program/governance leads
  • Build, develop, and retain a high-performing, multidisciplinary team
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for operational and technical issues that impact live operations
  • Apply disciplined engineering practices to incident response, root cause analysis, and corrective action development
  • Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen operational processes, tools, and outcomes
  • Own and manage a defined portfolio of operational engineering initiatives that support live operations
  • Partner closely with Site Operations, Design & Construction, Commissioning, Reliability Engineering, and regional teams

Requirements:

  • B.S. in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or other related technical field) or equivalent industry experience
  • 10+ years of experience in mission critical industry with at least 4 years as a manager of a technical team supporting live, mission-critical operations
  • Strong background in incident response, root cause analysis, and corrective action management
  • Proven ability to manage complex work portfolios with clear accountability and results
  • Strong collaboration skills across technical and operational teams.
