Job Description

Clinical Account Associate driving Tempus’ AI-powered precision oncology diagnostics adoption in Dallas. Building physician, pathology, and client relationships while supporting territory sales and clinical ordering.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Clinical Account Executive on plans for gaining and retaining new and existing clients
  • Collaborate with sales positions to attain company goals and objectives
  • Identify opportunities with existing customers for Tempus algorithmic tests and add-ons
  • Collaborate on upsell opportunities for various products
  • Drive customer adoption of online ordering through Tempus Hub and EMR integrations
  • Identify and develop partnering opportunities between prospective oncology clients and Tempus
  • Promote compliance with web-based molecular information tools
  • Analyze competitive landscape and assigned-account environment; provide customer feedback to leadership
  • Monitor sales performance against objectives
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive territory business plan covering budgets, travel, territory management, and goals
  • Represent Tempus company culture to internal and external constituents
  • Build and maintain relationships with physicians, office staff, and pathology departments
  • Maintain regular touchpoints with targeted accounts
  • Coordinate Medical Affairs report reviews with physicians
  • Replenish order kits and literature at accounts
  • Identify and attend approved local conferences
  • Obtain necessary clinical data and progress notes for Tempus-tested patients

Requirements:

  • Candidate must reside in the Dallas territory
  • Ability to quickly learn relevant genomic and oncology information
  • Ability to work independently, communicate proactively, manage multiple projects, prioritize daily tasks, and manage critical deadlines
  • Strong market, customer, and product knowledge to support sales objectives
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to connect with healthcare professionals
  • Positive attitude and understanding of organizational growth and change
  • Strong administrative skills and sophistication to manage business in complex environments
  • Demonstrate integrity, respect, and trust
  • Willingness to travel throughout the territory as needed
  • B.S. in biology, life science, business, or marketing
  • Bonus: Sales support experience in healthcare, preferably oncology or pathology, with proven past performance meeting or exceeding expectations, or general clinical experience
