Job Description
Cloud Developer für Kubernetes-, GitOps- und IAM/PAM-Lösungen bei SaltRock, einem IT-Beratungshaus für öffentliche und kritische Infrastrukturen. Entwicklung sicherer Cloud-Services für digitale Souveränität Deutschlands.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development of a central IAM/PAM solution, from architectural decisions through to production operations
- Build and operate cloud-native services on Kubernetes
- Automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code and GitOps
- Build and operate CI/CD pipelines
- Shape the lifecycle of identities, roles, and privileged access
- Implement provisioning, authorization, governance, and auditability
- Integrate existing systems via REST APIs
- Contribute to a sustainable, long-term integration architecture
- Translate regulatory requirements from the BSI IT-Grundschutz framework and comparable standards into technical solutions
- Collaborate on security-critical projects for public-sector clients and critical infrastructure
Requirements:
- Solid experience in software development
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Proficiency with Git as a daily tool
- Practical experience with Linux, automation, and scripting, such as Bash and Python
- Initial hands-on experience with DevOps or DevSecOps, ideally in building or operating CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of software design, REST API concepts, and integration architectures
- Willingness to develop in-depth expertise in Identity & Access Management, Privileged Access Management, and cloud operations
- Very good written and spoken German
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, particularly setting up and operating Kubernetes clusters
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code and GitOps
- Knowledge of IAM or PAM, especially in cloud environments
- Experience managing access, IAM/PAM, and identity lifecycle governance
- Understanding of regulatory requirements for critical environments, particularly BSI IT-Grundschutz, VS-NfD, and KRITIS
- Experience in the public sector or similarly regulated environments
