Job Description
Cloud Solutions Architect for Flexera, collaborating with teams to drive customer success through Autonomous Workload Optimization solutions. Bridging internal stakeholder groups and enhancing solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a subject matter expert for the Flexera Autonomous Workload Optimization (Spot Ocean and Elastigroup) product
- Partner with sales representatives, solution engineers, success managers, solution value advisors, and other team members to enable success throughout the customer journey
- Assist solutions engineers when needed as the subject matter expert in discovery calls to uncover customer needs and objectives
- Advise on advanced aspects for customers to consider and hence differentiate Flexera’s products
- Assist in technical validation initiatives to support the solutions engineers when needed
- Engage with the product development process on an ongoing basis to provide valuable field insights to product management and engineering teams
- Develop best practices for technical validation processes with the enablement team
- Assist customers in maxing adoption of the product by identifying opportunities through a consultative approach
- Travel up to 25% of the time to engage directly with customers and support sales, customer success, and renewal efforts
Requirements:
- Kubernetes certifications (CKA, CKS)
- Cloud certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP Architect)
- Experience with large-scale Kubernetes platforms
- Experience with FinOps frameworks and cost governance models
- Exposure to other solutions like Karpenter, EKS Automode, AKS Automatic, and GCP NAP
- Expert in AWS DevOps compute products (EC2, ECS, EKS, Karpenter)
- Experience with Kubernetes and containerization technologies
- Proficiency in Python, Go, Javascript, log analysis, live debugging as day-to-day tools
- Proficiency in working with RESTful APIs, API tools (e.g., Postman), or scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python)
- Familiarity with cloud vendor native tools (e.g., AWS Cost Explorer) and third-party solutions
