Job Description

COCO Manager overseeing bp’s company-operated retail sites in Spain. Leading HSSE, financial, operational, customer and people performance across a multi-site portfolio.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of company-operated sites to deliver performance against HSSE, customer, financial and people measures
  • Lead, mentor and develop Site Managers and site teams
  • Develop frontline teams across recruitment, onboarding, retention, recognition, training and capability development
  • Ensure sites comply with bp operational procedures, policies, HSSE requirements and brand standards
  • Drive performance improvements across fuel, convenience and foodservice using KPI management and execution excellence
  • Improve site profitability through sales growth, cost control, labor model optimization, waste management and retail asset utilization
  • Drive continuous improvement in customer experience, operational standards, compliance and business performance
  • Build and maintain a strong safety culture and ensure legal, regulatory and company compliance
  • Exercise autonomy, judgement and decision-making across operational, people and business matters
  • Manage operational incidents, compliance findings and audit actions
  • Build relationships with key partners and collaborate across functions
  • Lead implementation of strategic business initiatives and operational change programs
  • Report to the Field Operations Manager and work with Operations Support, Commercial, Convenience, Assets, Marketing, People & Culture and other support teams

Requirements:

  • Higher Education Degree strongly preferred
  • Significant Retail Operations experience, including field / multi-site management
  • Experience leading, coaching and developing large frontline teams
  • Proven track record of delivering safety, financial, operational and people performance
  • Broad understanding of Retail business processes and performance drivers
  • Experience leading site staff, including labour performance, staff engagement and people processes, in coordination with P&C advisory
  • Strong partner and relationship management capability
  • Up to 75% travel should be expected
