Job Description
Commercial Casualty Injury and Litigation Manager at GEICO overseeing claims handling and team leadership. Driving results in coverage investigation and liability determination.
Responsibilities:
- Play a vital role in the company's success by leading your supervisors in the investigation of coverage, determination of liability, damages and handling of injury claims.
- Oversee the handling of serious injuries and litigation.
- Own the outcome in all scenarios.
- Find ways to navigate a dynamic environment.
- Empower individuals and teams to do their best work.
- Build and strengthen partnerships across organizational lines.
- Make data-driven decisions that align with our strategic goals.
Requirements:
- Must have 2+ years’ experience managing supervisors overseeing a team of Commercial Casualty Claims handlers
- Must have experience in commercial trucking (preferred) or commercial auto
- Must be able to build strong engagement and support in teams working across multiple locations including fully remote associates
- Must be able to provide direction of complex coverage and liability investigations
- Must attain and maintain the required licenses issued by state insurance departments
- Must be able to learn and apply large amounts of technical and procedural information

- Must be able to handle difficult conversations and stressful situations
- Must perform duties at a stationary workstation
- Must be able to multi-task
- Preferred: Experience handling multiple states
