Job Description
Commercial Director leading US enterprise sales for Neara’s AI-powered electricity-grid digital twins. Managing Account Executives, regional revenue, forecasting, strategic accounts, and customer growth.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the Account Executive team for an assigned US region
- Own regional pipeline, revenue, and growth targets with the Americas VP Sales
- Own the regional sales process, including qualification criteria, stage definitions, deal inspection, and forecast accuracy
- Build and run account planning for top-priority enterprise accounts
- Drive adoption of the GTM scorecard for performance, leading indicators, and coaching priorities
- Design and run onboarding for new Account Executives and accelerate ramp time
- Establish coaching rhythms through 1:1s, call reviews, deal reviews, and skills development
- Support strategic deals as coach, strategist, and executive sponsor
- Partner with ABM Marketing Managers on regional account-based marketing campaigns
- Build a collaborative culture across the Americas region toward $100M in GTM ARR
- Develop expertise in regional market priorities and engage with utility engineers and C-suite executives
- Travel frequently to customer sites and industry events, including speaking and presenting for Neara
- Create regional user groups and industry events to gather customer feedback and guide the product roadmap
Requirements:
- Experience leading and managing enterprise sales teams, with a consistent record of delivering against team revenue targets
- Experience implementing scalable sales systems across a team of 10+ reps, including sales process, account planning, forecasting discipline, and performance scorecards
- Experience building sales systems from the ground up is strongly preferred
- Demonstrated success onboarding and ramping new sales hires
- Ability to diagnose stalled representatives or deals and improve outcomes through structured feedback and development
- 7+ years in enterprise SaaS sales
- Strong understanding of subscription-based models and complex, multi-stakeholder B2B sales cycles
- Comfort operating in a data-driven sales environment, including CRM hygiene, pipeline analytics, and leading indicators
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with geospatial technology, GIS, Digital Twin, and LiDAR applications is advantageous
- Current and unrestricted working rights required
