Job Description

Responsibilities:
- As a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) Finance Business Solutions Consultant, you will play a key role in implementing financial management modules for our clients.
- Support clients during initial configuration and throughout unit testing of financial processes (general ledger, invoicing, payments, reconciliations, etc.).
- Train clients on using the Finance modules in Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC), adapting content and teaching methods to different user profiles.
- Advise clients on optimal use of Dynamics 365 BC: provide best-practice recommendations, process optimization, and proposals for continuous improvement.
- Lead requirements-gathering workshops with clients, identify and clarify business needs, then produce functional documentation (processes, requirements, traceability matrices, etc.).
- Draft functional specifications in collaboration with and under the supervision of the Subject Matter Expert (SME), ensuring clarity and alignment with client expectations and project requirements.
- Prepare, plan, and coordinate functional testing (UAT), including writing test scenarios, tracking defects, and communicating with stakeholders.
- Validate fixes and ensure solutions meet the defined requirements by performing necessary post-fix checks.
- Participate in incident resolution and provide support to clients already in production.
- Actively contribute to change management and to building user competencies.
- Stay current on functional capabilities and propose relevant enhancements to the system or financial processes.
- Document implemented solutions and procedures to ensure maintainability and sustainability.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- CPA designation is a significant asset.
- Relevant experience as an accountant is an asset.
- Minimum of 3 years' relevant experience with the Finance module of Microsoft Dynamics NAV or Business Central (BC), gained in consulting or in a user, super-user, or key-user role.
- Strong understanding of financial operations and accounting processes.
- MB-800 Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant Associate certification is an asset.
- Strong communication skills, a solid customer service orientation, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Good organizational skills, effective time and priority management, and a willingness to learn new tools and methods.
- Occasional travel may be required.
