Job Description
Contract Analyst at ICON designing and analyzing clinical trials while managing vendor contracts. Ensuring compliance and quality in contract management processes within the healthcare sector.
Responsibilities:
- Design and analyse clinical trials, interpreting complex medical data, and contribute to the advancement of innovative treatments and therapies
- Take responsibility for contract management deliverables, applying skills to ensure quality and efficiency
- Review and analyze contracts, agreements, and legal documents related to clinical trial activities and vendor relationships
- Negotiate contract terms and conditions with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess contract risks, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop strategies to mitigate potential issues
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of contract status, milestones, and deliverables using contract management systems
- Provide guidance and support to internal teams on contract-related matters, including contract interpretation, compliance, and dispute resolution
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, life sciences, communications, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in contract administration, contract management, or a related field, preferably in the pharmaceutical or clinical research industry
- Strong understanding of contract law, legal terminology, and regulatory requirements related to clinical trials and vendor agreements
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate complex contractual issues and propose effective solutions
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel as required (approximately 5%)
