Job Description
Customer Account Manager advising North American retailers on digital marketing software, websites, and promotions. Gathering retailer feedback to shape product development.
Responsibilities:
- Discuss strategies with clients based on marketing and promotional activities that drive consumers to shop online and/or in-store.
- Manage client expectations and oversee website changes to align clients' websites with their overall business strategy.
- Communicate routinely and in a timely manner with clients via emails, phone calls, voicemails, and meeting coordination.
- Participate in and lead webinars and conference calls with clients and field representatives as needed.
- Help determine promotional content and coordinate website/digital changes.
- Conduct monthly website reviews with clients and track progress on jointly established priorities.
- Train and assist clients on using products and tools to maximize business value.
- Manage requests to resolve website technical issues and escalate issues to appropriate departments.
- Solicit in-market retailer feedback to inform the product development roadmap.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- 3-5 years of Account Management and Marketing related experience; Agency experience is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal communication, collaboration, and solution-building skills.
- Excellent presentation, verbal, written, and organizational skills.
- Highly organized and strong attention to detail; ability to maintain accuracy while working on multiple customer initiatives at the same time.
- Ability to learn and work in a fast-paced, high-volume, and deadline-driven environment.
- Strong aptitude for and knowledge of project and time management.
- Ability to find solutions and provide effective alternatives when needed.
- Understanding of advertising, digital marketing, social media, creative services, production, retail, and e-commerce.
- Passion for customer service, bringing empathy and compassion to clients.
- Ability to think critically and solve complex problems.
- Experience with Google Analytics.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, and/or Java is preferred.
