Job Description
Customer Success Specialist supporting family-run businesses using Ambrook's accounting, banking, and spending tools. Guiding onboarding, troubleshooting, and financial understanding through chat and calls.
Responsibilities:
- Represent Ambrook in written support, calls, and customer interactions
- Master Ambrook's product features to guide customers through setup, troubleshooting, and best practices
- Learn agricultural bookkeeping, the farm finance ecosystem, and operators' needs
- Handle support chat independently with prompt, accurate, and friendly responses
- Lead live onboarding calls and help customers transition from other systems to Ambrook
- Own a high volume of customer interactions across support chat and onboarding calls
- Explain accounting concepts such as transaction reconciliation and balance sheets
- Share recurring customer questions, friction points, feature requests, and product feedback with product and engineering teams
- Contribute to onboarding, support processes, and documentation improvements
- Build working relationships across growth, product, and engineering
Requirements:
- Strong bookkeeping or accounting background
- Experience doing bookkeeping in a software tool
- Ability to explain Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, and cash flow concepts clearly
- Clear, professional written communication and comfort with live video or phone calls
- Customer-focused problem-solving approach
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment
- Available for a minimum of 20 hours/week on a contract basis
- Flexibility to cover some evenings and/or weekend hours
- Authorization to work in the United States for any employer
- Background or personal experience in agriculture, construction, trucking, or another trade industry is a bonus
- Existing Ambrook customer experience is a bonus
