Job Description
Cyber Security Engineer securing Emprise Bank through vulnerability management, identity access, DLP, vendor reviews, and incident response. Providing tier 3 security support and leading IT Security projects.
Responsibilities:
- Lead daily operating and forensic activities of the IT Security program
- Manage patching, vulnerability scanning, threat detection and analysis, and remediation of security events
- Monitor emerging security threats and communicate proactively with leadership
- Lead IT Security project activities and root cause analysis
- Develop and maintain identity and access management solutions and policies
- Ensure least-privileged access is maintained and develop future identity and access management needs
- Develop, review, and annually test data loss prevention controls
- Identify gaps and improve controls, settings, and processes securing confidential data storage and transmission
- Conduct due diligence surveys for new vendors and ensure required security controls are in place
- Conduct annual reviews for critical vendors and own the security due diligence process
- Serve as expert-level escalation for complex technical security issues affecting end users
- Design, recommend, and implement solutions
- Document resolution phases, testing, best solutions, and follow-up communication
- Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of the role
Requirements:
- College degree or level of education that, together with industry experience, enables the applicant to meet the job requirements
- Exemplary customer service experience
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Confident and articulate communication skills
- Initiative and strong work ethic
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with associates, vendors, and professional contacts
- Understanding of and commitment to Emprise Bank values
- Extensive knowledge of SIEM platforms
- Extensive knowledge of malware applications such as Windows Defender and Symantec
- Demonstrated expertise in threat detection and analysis
- Knowledge of patch management systems
- Knowledge of Active Directory
- Familiarity with VMware, Hypervisor, cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), and Office 365 is preferred
- Authorization to work in the United States
