Job Description
Cybersecurity Engineer III at Modivcare responsible for leading cybersecurity strategies and safeguarding organizational data. Position involves monitoring security incidents and ensuring compliance with best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Leads the development of comprehensive cybersecurity strategies
- Oversees the advanced implementation of security measures across the organization
- Proactively monitors and responds to security incidents, utilizing threat intelligence
- Provides expert-level troubleshooting for complex security and network issues
- Oversees change management processes related to security policies and controls
- Conducts regular risk assessments and contributes to strategic planning
- Enhances communication and reporting with relevant departments and stakeholders
- May lead projects and perform other duties as assigned
- Occasional business travel may be required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Five (5) plus years of experience in cybersecurity
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or equivalent is a plus
- Advanced knowledge of security technologies and practices
- Experience with cloud security and virtualization technologies
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
