Job Description
Data annotator reconstructing 3D power-grid networks from LiDAR, GIS, and drone imagery. Supporting digital twins for energy infrastructure analysis and AI simulations.
Responsibilities:
- Reconstruct 3D power grid networks using point cloud (LiDAR) and map (GIS) data
- Place 3D objects, including poles, lines, and conductors, to match real-world physical layouts
- Align original 2D map data with 3D models
- Label high-resolution drone photos to identify grid components and detect structural defects
- Contribute to accurate and reliable digital twins of power grids and critical infrastructure
- Support AI and physics-based simulations used by energy companies to analyze network conditions, predict risks, and plan maintenance
Requirements:
- Background in GIS, Geodesy, Cartography, Land Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Strong spatial reasoning and the ability to easily navigate 3D environments
- English B2 (ability to read instructions, watch training videos, and communicate effectively)
- High attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a willingness to learn from feedback
- PC/laptop with an Intel i7-11800H (or equivalent/better CPU), dedicated GPU (NVIDIA T1200 or better; RTX 4060 recommended), and 16 GB RAM minimum (32 GB preferred)
- Basic understanding of power grids or prior experience with LiDAR data is a plus, not required
