Job Description
Data annotator reconstructing 3D power-grid networks from LiDAR, GIS maps, and drone imagery. Supporting Label Your Data’s AI-powered digital-twin projects for critical infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Reconstruct 3D power grid networks using LiDAR point-cloud and GIS map data
- Place 3D objects such as poles, lines, and conductors to match real-world layouts
- Align original 2D map data with 3D models
- Label high-resolution drone photos to identify grid components and detect structural defects
- Contribute to accurate digital twins of power grids and critical infrastructure used for network analysis, risk prediction, and maintenance planning
Requirements:
- Background in GIS, Geodesy, Cartography, Land Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Strong spatial reasoning and the ability to easily navigate 3D environments
- English B2 (ability to read instructions, watch training videos, and communicate effectively)
- High attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a willingness to learn from feedback
- PC/laptop with an Intel i7-11800H (or equivalent/better CPU)
- Dedicated GPU (NVIDIA T1200 or better; RTX 4060 recommended)
- Minimum 16 GB RAM (32 GB preferred)
- Basic understanding of power grids or prior experience with LiDAR data is a plus
