Job Description

Data Warehouse Engineer building scalable data warehouses and pipelines for a US automotive e-commerce company. Improving data quality, performance, and analytics infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable, high-performance data warehouse solutions using modern cloud and on-premise technologies
  • Develop, schedule, and monitor ETL/ELT pipelines using Apache Airflow and dbt
  • Optimize data models, queries, and storage strategies for performance, scalability, and reliability
  • Implement and enforce data quality, validation, and governance standards
  • Collaborate with data analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders to translate analytical requirements into data solutions
  • Enhance and automate data workflows using Airflow, dbt, and other modern frameworks
  • Manage AWS Linux controls for data warehouse setup
  • Support data-driven decision-making across the organization

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related technical field (Master’s preferred)
  • 3+ years of experience designing, developing, and maintaining data warehouses and ETL/ELT workflows in production environments
  • Proficiency in SQL and strong experience with data modeling, schema design, and performance optimization
  • Hands-on experience with Airflow, dbt, and AWS cloud-based data platforms such as Snowflake and Redshift
  • Hands-on business project experience with Python, C, C++, or Java
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, data-driven environment
  • Must not have had disciplinary actions regarding attendance, conduct, or performance in the past 90 days, and must not be approaching such action
  • Experience using Excel, Google Sheets, Slack
  • Experience with Airflow, dbt, Linux, and PostgreSQL
  • AWS cloud practitioner or engineer certificates are a plus
  • Resume must be submitted in English

  • Ability to work in US timezone shifts, such as EST, CST, MST, or PST
