Job Description
DevOps Engineer at Tieto Create managing GitLab infrastructure for thousands of users. Responsible for deployment automation, system scalability, and security compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct pre-study and analysis of technical requirements and evaluate third-party solutions for compatibility and performance.
- Manage and optimize GitLab infrastructure for scalability, reliability, and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define technical specifications.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and ensure compliance with security standards.
- Automate deployment, monitoring, and maintenance workflows using modern DevOps tools.
- On-call support in the service (weekly, once per 5 weeks)
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in DevOps Engineer role or similar positions
- AWS (must-have)
- Strong experience with Linux and networking fundamentals
- Proficiency in Kubernetes (K8s) and Docker
- Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, and scripting (e.g., Bash, Python)
- Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases
- Experience with on-premises installations (will be an advantage)
- Familiarity with GitLab administration and integrations (will be an advantage)
