Job Description
DevOps Engineer specializing in Kubernetes solutions and automation tools at Adfinis AG. Work remotely to support clients with cloud-native applications and infrastructure security.
Responsibilities:
- Kubernetes mastermind – Deploying, maintaining and optimizing Kubernetes clusters for clients or in the cloud.
- Troubleshooting expert – Debugging, root-cause analysis and high-level technical support.
- DevOps pioneer – Supporting development teams in implementing cloud-native applications.
- Automation guru – Automating, scaling and optimizing systems using Terraform, Ansible, GitLab and other tools.
- Security & compliance – Keeping infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines secure and compliant.
- Customer-focused – Working directly with our clients to develop innovative solutions.
Requirements:
- Strategic thinker – You design innovative IT solutions that not only work today but are built for the future.
- Strong Linux & Kubernetes skills – Deep familiarity with open-source cloud and container technologies (Kubernetes, SUSE Rancher, OpenShift, EKS, AKS) and practical experience applying them.
- Automation mastermind – Terraform/OpenTofu, Ansible and GitLab CI/CD are second nature to you; you use them to build efficient, scalable systems.
- Problem solver & debugger – You treat bugs as challenges, analyze complex issues and find clever solutions.
- Strong communicator – You can articulate ideas clearly, collaborate with developers, clients and colleagues as equals, and share your knowledge.
- Initiative & curiosity – You actively want to shape the IT landscape, bring new ideas and stay up to date with the latest technologies.
- Language skills – German & English at a minimum C2 level, as you will work with international teams and clients.
