Job Description

DevOps Engineer optimizing cloud infrastructure and creating CI/CD pipelines at Base2 Tecnologia. Role involves monitoring and scaling services, ensuring security, and documenting processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and optimize cloud infrastructure;
  • Create CI/CD pipelines;
  • Monitor and manage monitoring and observability platforms;
  • Ensure security, redundancy, and scalability of services;
  • Document technical decisions and processes;
  • Build and manage Docker images;
  • Optimize infrastructure costs;

Requirements:

  • Develop and optimize cloud infrastructure;
  • Create CI/CD pipelines;
  • Monitor and manage monitoring and observability platforms;
  • Ensure security, redundancy, and scalability of services;
  • Document technical decisions and processes;
  • Build and manage Docker images;
  • Optimize infrastructure costs;
  • Experience with major cloud providers: AWS (preferred), Azure, GCP;
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins;
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes (EKS/AKS/GKE): deployments, Ingress, ConfigMaps, Secrets, autoscaling, Helm charts;
  • Familiarity with Docker;
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, Dynatrace;
  • Experience in SRE / SysOps activities;
  • Bachelor's degree in IT-related fields (Systems, Computer Engineering, etc.);
  • Experience with Serverless Framework;
  • Scripting and automation with Bash, Python, or PowerShell;
  • Practical experience in production environments with high availability and scalability requirements;
  • Certifications: AWS at Associate, Professional and Specialty levels; Terraform Associate;
  • Experience with FinOps activities;
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi;
