Job Description
Director leading LG Electronics’ Smart Factory solutions sales and go-to-market strategy. Scaling sales teams, strategic partnerships, and major manufacturing accounts.
Responsibilities:
- Define and execute the overarching go-to-market strategy for Smart Factory solutions aligned with LG’s global business objectives.
- Manage revenue targets and profitability margins.
- Anticipate industry shifts in AI, Robotics, and Digital Twin technologies and adapt business strategies.
- Identify and evaluate M&A opportunities, strategic alliances, and joint ventures.
- Build and optimize scalable sales processes, lead-generation frameworks, CRM analytics, and forecasting.
- Lead business development and closure of multi-million/billion-dollar contracts, including negotiations and deal structuring.
- Collaborate with Business Management and R&D to deliver customer-centric solutions.
- Develop relationships with C-suite executives of Fortune 500 manufacturers and deliver solution presentations, demonstrations, and ROI-based proposals.
- Influence industry consortiums and standards-setting bodies.
- Act as a thought leader and keynote speaker at global industry events.
- Build relationships with key-account decision-makers and drive account expansion.
- Recruit, mentor, and retain business development managers and solution architects.
- Implement sales enablement tools and methodologies to improve productivity and win rates.
- Represent LG at trade shows, conferences, and industry consortiums.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
- 15+ years in business development and solution sales related with Smart Factory, Industrial Automation, or advanced manufacturing solutions.
- 5+ years in a leadership/management role.
- Proven track record of managing high-performing sales teams and achieving $100M+ annual targets.
- Extensive experience managing long-cycle, complex consultative sales within Heavy Industry, Automotive, Battery, Pharmaceutical, F&B and other industries.
- Exceptional ability to communicate complex technological value propositions to non-technical C-suite executives.
- Experience navigating global matrix organizations and managing cross-border business complexities.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing automation, digital transformation, and smart factory ecosystem.
