Job Description

Director of Customer Sales leading MeridianLink’s account management team. Driving key-account growth, sales forecasting, quotas, and revenue performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage existing key accounts and scale overall bookings
  • Oversee the strategic direction, operational objectives, and overall management of the Account Management team
  • Accurately forecast quarterly results
  • Consistently exceed sales quotas
  • Build strong, productive client relationships
  • Provide high-impact leadership across teams
  • Direct, manage, and supervise sales support functions
  • Lead efforts to achieve maximum sales revenues and corporate targets
  • Assign sales territories, train staff, set quotas, and allocate resources
  • Sell the firm’s products and services to new and existing clients
  • Develop and expand customer accounts
  • Expand existing accounts within an established geographic territory or product line
  • Sell products or services directly to end users
  • Maintain relationships with existing accounts while driving new business acquisition
  • Execute processes within the department, establish annual objectives, and execute tactics to meet goals
  • Manage departmental financial performance and P&L responsibilities
  • Hire, fire, conduct performance appraisals, and perform pay reviews
  • Manage first-level managers and supervisors
  • Guide team activities using functional practices and management precedents
  • Execute financials, business planning, organizational priorities, and workforce allocation
  • Develop and manage operational initiatives to deliver tactical results
  • Communicate and present results and recommendations across disciplines

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 8+ years of relevant sales leadership experience
  • Ability to provide guidance to subordinates within established MeridianLink policies
  • Ability to recommend policy changes and procedures affecting multiple disciplines
  • Ability to manage departmental financial performance and P&L responsibilities
  • Experience hiring, firing, conducting performance appraisals, and pay reviews
  • Experience managing first-level managers and supervisors
  • Ability to execute financials, business planning, organizational priorities, and workforce allocation
  • Ability to develop and manage operational initiatives
  • Ability to collaborate with supervisors, customers, and functional peer professionals across multiple units
  • Ability to partner with external stakeholders
  • Ability to communicate and present results and recommendations across disciplines
  • Ability to pass a background check, credit check, and drug test
  • Must provide documentation confirming identity and authorization to work in the United States
