Job Description

Director of Direct Client Development overseeing a team to expand client base in financial services. Develops strategies and motivates team members to meet targets in a remote environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for providing leadership to the Direct Client Development team.
  • Motivate and encourage client development team members to ensure targets are met.
  • Review and analyze sales and operational records and reports.
  • Partner with the leadership team to create and execute a strategic sales plan that expands our client base.
  • Recruit sales team members, set objectives, train and coach them and monitor their performance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (preferably Business, Economics, Accounting or Finance related)
  • 5+ years financial services industry experience at a minimum; high-volume sales, relationship management, or client service experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of Sales team management strongly preferred.
  • CFP or CFA preferred but if not, Series 65 is required or the ability to obtain quickly.
  • Experience with Digital Marketing Intelligence tools is a huge PLUS.
  • Ability Influence and motivate.
  • Ability to provide effective performance coaching and feedback.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Client service background preferred.
  • Excellent verbal, written, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Proficiency with Salesforce
  • Experience working with high-level, busy professionals.
  • Enjoy leading and being part of a team.
  • Must be highly flexible and confidential with all matters.
