Job Description
Director of Direct Client Development overseeing a team to expand client base in financial services. Develops strategies and motivates team members to meet targets in a remote environment.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for providing leadership to the Direct Client Development team.
- Motivate and encourage client development team members to ensure targets are met.
- Review and analyze sales and operational records and reports.
- Partner with the leadership team to create and execute a strategic sales plan that expands our client base.
- Recruit sales team members, set objectives, train and coach them and monitor their performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (preferably Business, Economics, Accounting or Finance related)
- 5+ years financial services industry experience at a minimum; high-volume sales, relationship management, or client service experience preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of Sales team management strongly preferred.
- CFP or CFA preferred but if not, Series 65 is required or the ability to obtain quickly.
- Experience with Digital Marketing Intelligence tools is a huge PLUS.
- Ability Influence and motivate.
- Ability to provide effective performance coaching and feedback.
- Excellent communication skills
- Client service background preferred.
- Excellent verbal, written, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Proficiency with Salesforce
- Experience working with high-level, busy professionals.
- Enjoy leading and being part of a team.
- Must be highly flexible and confidential with all matters.
