Job Description

Director of Grants at Teach For America managing donor relationships and fundraising activities. Collaborating with various teams to maximize contributions from grants and other funding sources.

Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate, steward, and manage a portfolio of donors
  • Collaborate with Executive Directors, regional staff, and other front-line fundraisers
  • Manage and write 75+ proposals, reports, letters of intent, and other grant-related deliverables
  • Liaise and coordinate with national central teams and regional teams as needed

Requirements:

  • At least 4 years of related experience in development and grant writing
  • Proven track record of successfully navigating complex philanthropic landscapes to reach revenue goals
  • Strong ability to monitor fundraising progress against portfolio goals to ensure portfolio is on track to meet goals
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Prior experience with managing and writing complex public grants
