Job Description
Infrastructure Director leading IT systems for Whip Media’s AI-native streaming-content platform. Overseeing cloud, network, server, storage, security, projects, and infrastructure teams.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a strategic vision for the company’s IT infrastructure
- Lead and manage the infrastructure team, providing direction, mentorship, and professional development
- Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of network, server, storage, and cloud infrastructure
- Ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of IT systems and networks
- Manage infrastructure projects within budget and timeline constraints
- Establish and enforce infrastructure management and security policies, procedures, and standards
- Monitor and analyze infrastructure performance and implement improvements
- Assess industry trends and emerging technologies
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for hardware, software, and services
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management
- At least 5 years in a senior leadership role
- Proven experience designing and managing complex IT infrastructure, including cloud environments
- Strong knowledge of network architecture, server management, storage solutions, and cybersecurity practices
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a focus on mentorship and professional development
- Strong project management skills, with experience managing large-scale infrastructure projects
- Regular availability during Eastern Time business hours
- No third-party recruiters or staffing agencies
