Job Description
Director overseeing Microelectronics Commons program worth $2B at NSTXL. Leading strategic direction and execution in partnership with the US government.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and track ME Commons execution timelines in collaboration with government
- Provide thought leadership on the strategic direction of the program
- Set the internal cadence for a broad team supporting ME Commons, including contracts, marketing, and project management
- Manage relationships with Hubs, project teams, and the broader user community.
- Work closely with regional Hubs to ensure compliance and quality of deliverables
- Act as an advocate for the ME Commons program with government and other key stakeholders
- Provide recommendations to senior NSTXL leaders to manage risk and seek growth opportunities.
- Act as a trusted advisor to government, providing relevant inputs for the success of the program
- Resolve any issues or escalations from clients quickly and effectively to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Ensure team’s adherence to thorough documentation for each project, including plans, timelines, budgets, risks, and resolutions.
- Identify and manage resources appropriate to needs.
- Identify and collect metrics and key performance indicators that measure and track ecosystem health and inform future year requirements and acquisition.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, or a related field.
- 5+ years experience in the semiconductor industry.
- 5+ years of experience managing a team.
- Strong technical background with experience in managing complex programs with multiple stakeholders.
- Superior attention to detail.
- Strong communication, problem solving, strategy development, and leadership skills.
- Team player with the ability to partner cross functionally in growing organization.
- Ability to receive US government clearance.
