Job Description
Director developing competitive pricing models and proposal strategies for GardaWorld Federal Services, a government services provider. Analyzing costs, contracts, risks, and price-to-win opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Lead preparation of price/cost models and volume documents
- Participate in reviews and pricing discussions with Executive Management
- Analyze Business Development and Technical Solutions input to form competitive proposal submissions
- Collaborate with Business Development and Solutions teams to understand customer requirements and develop pricing strategies
- Gather information for competitive analysis and develop price-to-win (PTW) strategies
- Prepare accurate, compliant pricing models
- Analyze and compile cost data while maintaining detailed estimating files for inquiries and audit compliance
- Source material and procurement quotes with Contracts and Procurement
- Direct subcontractors involved in proposal preparation
- Assist Project Controllers with interpreting pricing documents and estimating completion costs
- Contribute to pricing strategy, risk identification, and interpretation of solicitation requirements for proposals and modifications
- Develop competitive pricing models and narratives for new proposals and contract modifications
- Work with Finance on Forward Pricing Rates estimation and Project Control historical analyses
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or similar discipline
- 10+ years of pricing/finance experience in government contracting, or equivalent combination of education and training
- Experience in accounting and/or financial disciplines
- Familiarity with Government Cost Accounting Principles (CAS) and the FAR
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, including Excel for creating complex models
- Knowledge of contract types including FFP, CPFF, CPAF, CPIF, and T&M
- Knowledge of financial measurement principles such as earned value, scheduling, IRR, and ROI
- Ability to work in a team environment and independently
- Ability to communicate clearly in verbal and written formats
- Strong attention to detail
- Good time management skills to meet internal and external deadlines
- Willingness to work overtime as needed during surge periods
