Job Description

Sales Director driving Salesforce healthcare and life sciences consulting growth. Building executive relationships, winning HLS accounts, and shaping Health Cloud implementation opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Build relationships with Health Systems (Providers), Health Insurance companies (Payers), Pharmaceutical firms, and MedTech organizations
  • Collaborate with teams to design Salesforce solutions prioritizing patient-centric care and clinical efficiency
  • Engage C-level stakeholders to drive digital transformation and win new HLS logo accounts
  • Create territory plans aligned with HLS fiscal cycles and regulatory shifts
  • Unearth net new sales opportunities through outbound calls, emails and networking
  • Manage the customer relationship lifecycle from prospecting through securing business contacts and account expansion
  • Lead discovery conversations to uncover customer pain points, including patient acquisition, care coordination, provider recruitment and clinical trial management
  • Present Salesforce Health Cloud, Life Sciences Cloud, Salesforce Shield, Mulesoft and Data 360 solutions
  • Provide ongoing customer support and maintain long-term customer success
  • Maintain forecasting and pipeline management practices
  • Mentor and grow junior Business Development resources
  • Engage with Salesforce HLS-focused RVPs and AEs to drive co-prime opportunities
  • Partner with Coastal Business Unit Leadership throughout sales cycles to align business development with project delivery
  • Create estimates aligned with customer requirements, expectations and deliverables
  • Create and deliver SOWs in line with Coastal standards
  • Travel as needed to support sales cycles and close business

Requirements:

  • 5+ years proven expertise as a Salesforce Delivery or Sales Consultant, specifically with HLS implementations
  • 5+ years of Sales experience
  • Experience in Healthcare IT or Life Sciences professional services is a major plus
  • Experience navigating the buying process of large IDNs (Integrated Delivery Networks), Biotech startups, or national Payers
  • Ability to take ownership and responsibility for, and actively drive sales pursuits
  • Commitment to building long term relationships with customers and winning business through trusted relationships
  • Consultative mindset and a dedication to learning in a dynamic environment
  • Understanding of and relationships within the Salesforce portfolio and newly acquired solutions such as Mulesoft, Tableau, Slack, etc.
  • Excellent communication, preparation, strategy, presentation and execution skills
  • Ability to run an end to end sales cycle collaboratively with pre-sales, delivery, SMEs and Industry Professionals
  • Organizational and time-management skills; detail oriented and process driven
  • Must have full-time permanent US work authorization
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent experience
  • Experience as a Salesforce Consultative seller
  • Existing Salesforce RVP, AE relationships in HLS space
