Job Description
Educational Sales Consultant promoting educational products like i-Ready and Magnetic Reading to school leaders. Building relationships and driving sales initiatives in assigned territory.
Responsibilities:
- Become and act as an expert on the company’s products and educational trends
- Develop and execute a sales territory plan for assigned territory
- Establish and maintain consultative relationships with school district leaders
- Deliver key sales presentations virtually or in person
- Plan and execute regional events and sponsorships
- Engage in sales activities to generate revenue and meet territory plan metrics
- Create and maintain accurate opportunities pipeline
- Monitor, screen, and respond to internal/external communications
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Marketing, Sales, Business, or related field or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years’ equivalent experience in education or educational sales
- Experience in a SaaS-based sales environment
- Understanding of the education landscape within assigned territory
- Previous experience in assessment and curriculum adoptions preferred
- Established relationships with district leaders within the assigned territory preferred
