Job Description

Responsibilities:
- Lead an engineering team of 4 to 6 engineers
- Translate the company’s strategic objectives into clear, actionable goals for the team
- Support team members’ technical and career development by providing feedback, monitoring performance, and supporting decisions related to the people management cycle
- Ensure consistent delivery execution by leading complex projects, tracking success metrics, and removing impediments
- Serve as a technical reference for architecture decisions, backlog refinement, code reviews, and technical discussions
- Ensure the quality of and accountability for the team’s technical deliverables
- Monitor trends and opportunities for continuous improvement
- Review and optimize workflows to increase productivity
- Ensure alignment with Product Managers, Designers, other Engineering Managers, and partner teams
- Coordinate initiatives across different teams
- Plan and manage the team’s resource allocation
- Promote the adoption of Artificial Intelligence in engineering
Requirements:
- Previous experience leading software engineering teams
- Strong software development background, with the ability to actively participate in technical discussions, support architecture decisions, and drive the team’s technical growth
- Experience in people management, including career development, feedback, performance management, and decision-making related to the people management cycle
- Experience leading the execution of complex projects and coordinating deliverables across multiple teams and stakeholders
- Experience with agile methodologies and software development best practices
- Knowledge of scalability strategies and building solutions with a long-term perspective
- Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills across different levels of the organization
- Proficiency in using AI tools personally and an interest in leveraging Artificial Intelligence to increase productivity and advance engineering teams
