Job Description

Engineering Manager leading engineering teams to build and maintain mental health infrastructure. Focusing on technical leadership and people management in a remote-first environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of engineers to build, scale, and maintain payments infrastructure and internal tools used by 100s of users
  • Apply your deep full-stack (FE/BE) building experience to ensure technical excellence across our platforms
  • Shape our engineering culture and hold a strong performance bar to support Rula's mission of making mental healthcare work for everyone

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience; 2+ years managing engineers.
  • Proven track record of delivering production software at scale in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong technical grounding in web application architecture, APIs, and cloud infrastructure
  • Demonstrated ability to drive accountability and delivery velocity across multiple initiatives
  • Prior experience hiring and developing high-performing engineers
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills working cross-functionally with Product & Design
