Job Description
Enterprise Sales Director selling Confluence’s investment-data solutions to US financial institutions. Building new-logo pipelines, managing enterprise sales, and closing software deals.
Responsibilities:
- Promote the Confluence suite of investment-data solutions within the assigned territory
- Sell solutions across the investment lifecycle to Asset Managers, Fund Administrators, Investment Consultants, Wealth Managers and Asset Owners
- Collaborate with Marketing and Product to develop and execute a pipeline of opportunities
- Manage opportunities through the sales process and contract closure
- Report to the Head of Business Development
- Own the assigned quota for new sales into new relationships/accounts
- Drive the enterprise sales process from identification through proposal, negotiation and close
- Achieve sales goals by prioritizing activities and the sales pipeline
- Develop and deliver tailored business cases demonstrating solution value or ROI
- Present solution benefits through prospect-office visits, industry conferences and web-based demonstrations
- Partner with Business Development Representatives and Marketing to transition leads through sales close
- Maintain working knowledge of Confluence and competitor solution benefits and pricing
- Use Salesforce.com to capture meeting, call and email insights for forecasting and pipeline management
- Monitor industry trends and develop knowledge of client and prospect needs
- Use industry and third-party relationships to build pipeline and expand Confluence's market reach
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree from an Accredited University or equivalent industry experience
- 7-10+ years of enterprise sales experience, including experience selling software solutions or data to financial institutions
- Experience within New Client / New Logo sales
- Experience using Salesforce, Teams, Outlook, LinkedIn
- Ability to network and build relationships with senior leaders at top global asset managers, Fund Administrators, Investment Consultants, Wealth Managers and Asset Owners
- Proven experience in a high velocity sales environment with a multi-task ability
- Experience identifying prospect needs and concerns
- Strong written and oral communication, presentation, and organizational skills
- In-person and virtual presentation skills, professionalism, analytical and conceptualization problem-solving skills
- Ability to engage with prospects to learn critical information about their businesses and analyze complex business issues
- Ability to work creatively under pressure and with deadlines
- Strong ability to learn new business, data and technology concepts
- Background in Financial Technology Sales
- Understand Miller Heiman or comparable sales management methodology
- Ability to work in the United States; pre-employment checks may include verification of right to work in the UK
