Job Description
Environmental Engineer at SC&A providing policy support and evaluation of waste treatment facilities. Engaging in site visits and client interactions with up to 30% travel requirement.
Responsibilities:
- Work on remediation projects
- Provide policy support on RCRA and other environmental laws
- Perform evaluations of waste treatment, storage, and disposal facilities
- Participate in site visits, data collection, and investigations
- Review technical/program documents and applications
- Perform environmental calculations
- Communicate with regulators on compliance issues
- Lead/prepare proposals
- Assist in preparing environmental guidance documents
- Interact with clients
- Up to 30% travel required, including international travel
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental or Chemical Engineering
- Professional Engineer certification
- 6-15 years of experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 Office Suite
