Job Description

Executive Director overseeing Texas healthcare markets for HarmonyCares, a national provider of in-home primary care. Managing regional strategy, operations, P&L, teams, and health plan partnerships.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the management of multiple markets within a designated Region
  • Build a strong team and performance-based culture within the Region
  • Execute key value levers supporting growth and success across HarmonyCares
  • Lead strategy, growth, and operational oversight of one or more Regions
  • Partner with market leadership teams and health plan partners on financial, operational, and quality metrics
  • Work cross-functionally with Finance, Business Development, Operations, Care Management, Product, Actuary, Medical Management, Implementation, Talent, and Executive teams
  • Monitor market and line-of-business performance and apply best practices to improve performance year over year
  • Manage a multi-million-dollar P&L exceeding $25M revenue, ensuring value levers drive positive patient and financial outcomes
  • Ensure clinical teams focus on patient needs and staffing supports business needs while clinicians work to the top of license
  • Mentor management teams, advocate for their needs, and hold them accountable for key performance indicators
  • Standardize operations and own or participate in special projects supporting organizational transformation
  • Develop and nurture relationships with local health plan leadership, including sales and marketing, to support care coordination and membership growth

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 10+ years of leadership experience in healthcare operations
  • Extensive P&L experience with demonstrated success operating on budget and understanding key performance indicators
  • Executive presence and collaborative mindset with internal and external stakeholders, boards, health plan members, and employees
  • Solution-oriented approach and willingness to contribute to varied tasks in a rapid-paced start-up environment
  • Ability to communicate and engage all levels of clinical and non-clinical employees
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
  • Preferred: Experience with value-based risk contracts under capitated arrangements
  • Preferred: Experience with Medicare Advantage health plan offerings and populations of patients with chronic conditions, with ability to execute best-in-class payer/provider solutions
