Job Description
Exposure Management Engineer deploying Axonius-based asset and vulnerability management for GuidePoint Security, a cybersecurity solutions provider. Automating remediation workflows and improving clients' cyber risk visibility.
Responsibilities:
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Axonius Asset Cloud across hybrid, multi-cloud, and on-premises client environments
- Design and build API-based data connections to security, IT, identity, cloud, endpoint, and network sources
- Configure and tune asset correlation to create unified, de-duplicated asset records
- Provide daily platform support, monitoring, and maintenance, including adapter health, data freshness, and system performance
- Operate and maintain vulnerability management, CAASM, and CNAPP platforms
- Monitor findings and support prioritization, remediation, and SLA tracking
- Configure Axonius risk-based vulnerability management using business impact, exposure, exploitability, asset criticality, and mitigating controls
- Consolidate vulnerability findings from Tenable, Qualys, Rapid7, and other scanners
- Build queries, dashboards, reports, enrichment, risk scoring, escalation logic, and Enforcement Center remediation workflows
- Configure comprehensive asset inventories, coverage analysis, ownership, categorization, tagging, and data hygiene
- Support CNAPP and cloud posture monitoring, misconfiguration investigation, identity exposure analysis, and attack-path investigation
- Develop scripts, API integrations, ticketing integrations, reporting automation, vulnerability triage, and remediation tracking
- Participate in client operational meetings and provide platform and remediation updates
- Assist senior engineers with troubleshooting and contribute to documentation and operational playbooks
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering
- Experience in exposure management or risk-based vulnerability management
- Hands-on experience with Axonius Asset Cloud or comparable CAASM / asset intelligence platform, including configuring adapters, correlation, queries, and enforcement actions
- Experience building and maintaining unified asset inventories from disparate security and IT data sources
- Experience configuring asset criticality, ownership, and business context for risk-based prioritization
- Familiarity with vulnerability management, exposure management, or CNAPP platforms such as Tenable, Qualys, Rapid7, Wiz, Axonius, or similar tools
- Scripting experience with Python, PowerShell, or similar
- Experience working with APIs or automating workflows
- Understanding of vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, identity and access control, and security monitoring
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with engineering teams
- Embraces emerging technologies, including AI tools
- Up to 10% travel
- Sedentary work
- Substantial movement of wrists, hands, and/or fingers for a minimum of 8 hours a day
- Close visual acuity for computer terminal viewing and/or extensive reading for a minimum of 8 hours a day
