Job Description
HCBS AFL Recruiter recruiting Adult Foster Living providers for Lutheran Services Carolinas, a Carolina nonprofit. Building provider networks through outreach, onboarding, and community partnerships.
Responsibilities:
- Recruit and develop a network of qualified Adult Foster Living (AFL) providers
- Create and execute recruitment strategies to meet program growth goals
- Build relationships with community organizations, faith-based groups, advocacy organizations, and other referral sources
- Conduct outreach through community events, virtual meetings, social media, and other recruitment channels
- Educate prospective providers about AFL services, requirements, and opportunities
- Guide applicants through provider onboarding, screening, and approval processes
- Maintain accurate recruitment records and applicant tracking information
- Collaborate with HCBS leadership and operational teams to identify provider needs and recruitment priorities
- Monitor recruitment metrics and provide regular updates on pipeline activity and outcomes
- Represent LSC professionally in the community and virtually
- Support special projects and other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Business, Marketing, Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred
- Experience in recruiting, sales, business development, community outreach, human services, or healthcare preferred
- Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, behavioral health services, or community-based programs is a plus
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Comfortable presenting information to groups and individuals
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and virtual communication platforms
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Self-motivated with a passion for connecting individuals to meaningful opportunities
- Regular travel throughout North Carolina; local and regional travel required
- Occasional evening and weekend events may be required
