Job Description

Federal Security & Compliance Consultant providing consulting and compliance support for Matrix Design Group's federal projects. Collaborating on security requirements and documentation while supporting client engagements.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide consulting, contract security, facility access, and compliance support across Matrix Design Group
  • Serve as a project point of contact for contract security requirements
  • Coordinate personnel, subcontractor, and facility access requirements for federal facilities
  • Assist with safeguarding Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), classified information, operationally sensitive information, Personally Identifiable Information (PII), proprietary information, and other protected Government or third-party information
  • Support Facility Security Officer responsibilities
  • Support Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) and related cybersecurity compliance efforts
  • Research assigned areas or issues and write formal and informal reports
  • Support project execution by preparing reports, technical documents, presentations, programming documents, and other project deliverables
  • Meet with clients and their representatives
  • Provide project management assistance

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering, operations research, data science or related field of study
  • Minimum of three (3) years of work-related experience
  • Preferred experience working with or for the Department of War, including contract security, facility access, CUI handling, CMMC, or related compliance support
  • Valid driver's license, in conjunction with successfully passing the Company’s MVR screening
  • Ability to travel to client sites, project locations, and federal facilities as required
  • Must be eligible to access U.S. Government facilities, systems, and information, including the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret, Top Secret, or higher security clearance when required by contract.
