Job Description
Field Property Claims Adjuster at Farmers visiting policyholders’ homes to investigate property damage claims. Utilizing claims handling software and negotiating settlements with customers.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct field-based investigations by visiting policyholders’ homes
- Use claims handling software, a company car, and laptop to assess damages
- Represent the Company from a public relations standpoint
- Negotiate with policyholders to settle the claim
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelors Degree preferred
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Eagerness to learn about insurance policies and property damage
- Outgoing personality that enjoys interacting with diverse individuals
- Valid driver's license
- Final candidates will be subject to a Motor Vehicle Record background check
