Job Description
Field Service Specialist maintaining Insightec's incisionless-surgery medical systems across the Philadelphia region. Installing, repairing, troubleshooting, and supporting systems with approximately 80% travel.
Responsibilities:
- Install and implement new systems
- Perform periodic maintenance and system repairs
- Provide technical remote support for systems
- Troubleshoot systems and diagnose sources of failures
- Complete maintenance and service reporting and documentation
- Provide field service in eastern Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey, and New York, and assist in New York City as needed
- Work 2nd and 3rd shifts and travel approximately 80%
Requirements:
- Associate degree in Electrical, Biomedical, or Computer Engineering required; BS preferred
- At least 3 years of experience in field service for medical systems
- Imaging experience preferred; 5+ years of MRI experience preferred
- Multidisciplinary capital equipment service knowledge
- Technical understanding of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Ability to solve analog and digital hardware electronics issues
- Ability to troubleshoot software and networking issues
- Ability to interpret written, oral, diagram, and schedule instructions
- “Hands on” attitude
- Very organized and detail oriented
- Capable of working independently and as part of a team
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work 2nd and 3rd shifts
- Ability to travel approximately 80%
