Job Description
Finance Controller running multi-entity cash, payments, and reporting for AI Acquisition’s AI agency marketplace. Automating finance operations across high-volume, multi-currency environments.
Responsibilities:
- Own the daily cash cycle across all entities, including DMCC, Acquisity, AI Broker, and others
- Oversee high-volume USD revenue flows from Whop into UAE bank accounts
- Ensure daily funding of GBP/AED corporate cards for Meta ad spend
- Build live cash visibility systems for the Director of Finance
- Lead migration from the legacy Pleo/UK-entity setup to Qashio
- Evaluate and implement Whop’s virtual card platform for automated Meta spending
- Eliminate manual card-topping and payment bottlenecks
- Audit manual finance processes and automate or systematize recurring work
- Build and implement SOPs for cash management, reporting, payments, refunds, and reconciliation
- Coordinate with Emifast to maintain accurate, current, and properly structured Xero records across entities
- Build financial dashboards for the Director of Finance and executive team
- Oversee financial operations across 2–3 entities with different products and revenue structures
- Hold external bookkeeping providers accountable for quality, timeliness, and accuracy
- Manage the financial wind-down of the legacy UK entity
- Deliver executive-ready cash position and entity-level P&L reporting
- Surface profitability issues, particularly for Acquisity, and provide corrective action
- Establish reporting rhythms so the Director of Finance remains informed
- Report directly to and support the Director of Finance
Requirements:
- 5+ years in a finance operations, treasury, or senior finance execution role
- Direct experience in a high-volume, high-transaction-count environment
- Systems-first approach to building repeatable processes and automations
- Experience leading or overseeing finance operations teams, external partners, or cross-functional processes
- Hands-on experience managing high-volume, multi-currency cash flows in USD, GBP, and AED
- Proven experience building and implementing finance-operations SOPs
- Experience managing external bookkeeping or accounting firms
- Strong working knowledge of Xero, Wise, Whop, and corporate card platforms such as Pleo or Qashio
- Experience operating in a fast-growing digital, e-commerce, or performance marketing business
- Experience with significant scale, high daily cash movement, multiple currencies, and multiple entities
- Highly desirable: experience with UAE corporate structures, specifically DMCC entities
- Highly desirable: background in performance marketing businesses with high daily ad spend
- Highly desirable: experience with entity wind-downs or cross-border entity restructuring
- Highly desirable: familiarity with Series A or early-scale finance environments
