Job Description

Financial management data analyst using Palantir Foundry and Vantage for Department of War transformation projects. Building financial data solutions, reporting, and decision-support capabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Department of War clients in designing, developing, and enhancing modern solutions in the Vantage platform using Palantir Foundry
  • Strengthen financial management operations, improve financial reporting and data transparency, and enable data-driven decision-making
  • Build and support Palantir Foundry data solutions, including pipelines, transforms, datasets, and data lineage
  • Build and enhance Palantir Workshop applications
  • Develop Python, SQL, PySpark, and Spark-based data processing
  • Work with relational and analytical data stores such as Databricks, Oracle, Postgres, and SQL Server
  • Apply sound data modeling principles
  • Support or integrate solutions with DoD Advana/Vantage as projects require
  • Handle federal financial data, including budget, execution, and accounting data
  • Apply data controls and support reconciliation needs
  • Troubleshoot data solutions
  • Translate complex technical concepts for technical and non-technical audiences
  • At Manager level, supervise and mentor project team members
  • At Manager level, lead multidisciplinary teams, influence senior stakeholders, and foster collaboration, accountability, and professional development

Requirements:

  • Active and maintained Secret Federal or DoW security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree, at minimum 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Palantir Foundry experience
  • Experience with Palantir, including Workshop
  • Experience supporting or integrating with DoD Advana/Vantage is highly desirable
  • Experience in Python, SQL, PySpark, and Spark-based data processing
  • Experience building or supporting data solutions using Palantir Foundry, including pipelines, transforms, datasets, and data lineage
  • Experience working with relational and analytical data stores, including Databricks, Oracle, Postgres, and SQL Server
  • Sound data modeling principles
  • Experience handling federal financial data, including budget, execution, and accounting data
  • Understanding of data controls and reconciliation needs
  • Managers: 5+ years of experience
  • Managers: Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and influence senior stakeholders
  • Ability to travel up to 20% based on client needs
  • Desired: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Desired: Direct experience supporting DoW financial, PPBE, comptroller/CFO, or audit-related programs
  • Desired: Understanding and experience with Federal financial systems such as GFEBS, Navy ERP, DAI, and DEAMS
  • Desired: Knowledge of Federal financial management and accounting concepts, data structures, and policy, including Treasury Financial Manual, OMB Circular A-123, SFFAS, and USSGL
  • Desired: Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment
  • Desired: Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills, including translating complex technical concepts for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Desired: Familiarity with Git-based version control, CI/CD concepts, and Agile delivery methodologies in secure environments
  • Desired: Prior experience with Advana/Vantage ecosystems or adjacent DoD enterprise analytics platforms
  • Desired: Palantir, AWS, Azure, or Databricks certifications
  • Desired: Familiarity with data governance, metadata management, lineage, and access controls in classified or controlled unclassified environments
  • Desired: Understanding of DoW data, security, and compliance frameworks, including RMF and ATO processes
  • Desired: Previous consulting experience supporting federal or defense clients
