Job Description

Forward Deployed Engineer integrating LMI’s LIGER GenAI platform for federal customers. Building tailored features, deployments, and proof-of-concept solutions with up to 50% travel.

Responsibilities:

  • Integrate the LIGER GenAI platform into customers’ existing business processes
  • Build new functionalities and enhancements within the LIGER platform for specific customer needs
  • Ensure successful deployment and initial configuration of LIGER
  • Support customers for 60–180 days post-sale before transitioning deployments to a long-term project team
  • Engage directly with customers in person, hybrid, or remotely as required
  • Conduct proof-of-concept demonstrations for potential and existing customers
  • Maintain a deep understanding of LIGER’s capabilities and limitations
  • Provide technical consulting, guidance, and support during integration and deployment
  • Rapidly build customer-specific features into or around LIGER and collaborate with the core product team
  • Document and communicate customer requirements and feedback
  • Troubleshoot and resolve deployment issues
  • Travel occasionally to customer locations within the United States
  • Collaborate with product management, engineering, and support teams

Requirements:

  • Active Secret clearance
  • Only US Citizens are eligible for a security clearance; applicants must meet eligibility requirements for a U.S. Government security clearance
  • Advanced proficiency in Python
  • Extensive experience with PostgreSQL
  • Hands-on experience with LLMs, NLP, and related AI technologies solving real problems
  • Proven experience with the MEAN Stack and full-stack development in TypeScript
  • Experience with Angular and developing web applications
  • Strong knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and CI/CD pipelines, specifically with GitLab
  • Familiarity with cloud computing deployment models, especially AWS GovCloud and/or DoD or federal environments
  • Ability to integrate software solutions with existing business processes and interact effectively with APIs
  • Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and security principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including interaction with senior executives from government and industry
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and prioritize effectively
  • Willingness and availability for occasional travel based on project requirements
  • Top Secret clearance preferred
  • Familiarity with DoD cybersecurity requirements and vulnerability management concepts
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes and other container orchestration engines
  • Proficiency with MCP Server and experience building MCP tools
  • Hands-on experience containerizing applications
  • Strong background in Unix/Linux operating systems
  • Knowledge of AWS products and capabilities, specifically GovCloud environments
