Job Description
Forward Deployed Engineer building AI-augmented CAD and simulation workflows for Synera’s aerospace and automotive customers. Collaborating on-site with clients and product teams to automate engineering processes.
Responsibilities:
- Build workflows and multi-agent systems in Synera that show fast value to customers
- Identify valuable next use cases with customers
- Regularly visit customers, up to 40%
- Fill missing functionality with scripts, web node automations, and custom add-ins
- Optimize agent and multi-agent-system prompts for reliability
- Communicate closely with Synera product managers to bring temporary solutions into the product
- Align weekly priorities with Customer Success Managers
- Build workflows for extracting costing-relevant CAD data
- Lead customer workshops and incorporate workflows into multi-agent systems using real data
- Share user insights with developer teams and product managers
- Participate in knowledge exchange with FDEs and Solution Engineers
Requirements:
- Technical background in Computational, Automation, or Mechanical Engineering
- Approximately 1–3 years of experience working with customers
- Strong communication skills and ability to showcase business value with technical solutions
- Experience with CAD/CAE tools such as OptiStruct, Siemens NX, CATIA, ANSYS, Nastran, Abaqus, or LS-DYNA
- Experience and/or deep interest in AI, including LLMs, prompt engineering, and vibe coding
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Ability to collaborate with clients and explain complex topics clearly and engagingly
- Native German speaker or professional-level German proficiency
- Willingness and ability to travel approximately 40% for customer visits, workshops, and on-site collaboration
- Experience with Synera and/or C# and Python coding is a plus
