Job Description
Franchise Business Manager supporting Papa John’s UK franchisees. Improving pizza-store sales, profitability, customer satisfaction, openings, training, and operational compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Work cross-functionally to assist international franchisees in the UK
- Build relationships with franchisees and help improve sales, customer satisfaction, market share, and profitability
- Strengthen and protect Papa John’s brand and communicate its culture and core values
- Support the Business Director in increasing market share and sales of assigned units and markets
- Help franchisees establish business plans and maintain trusting, respectful relationships
- Improve customer satisfaction and ensure product, service, and image standards
- Help franchisees access regional and corporate resources and follow up as needed
- Track and analyze monthly P&Ls for new franchisees during their first 12 months
- Work with Finance on financial reviews within 120 days of business commencement
- Review P&L and cash flow performance, identify problems, and recommend solutions
- Evaluate investment needs and cost-effectiveness with the development team
- Support new products, procedures, equipment, and corporate or regional programs
- Attend franchise business meetings and support presentations on business strategies and performance
- Coordinate pre-opening preparations, resources, training, and preparation for new units
- Assist with training new franchisees and advise the regional team on additional training needs
- Work with Quality Control Centers on product quality, cost control, and compliance visits
- Ensure stores are inspected and comply with company standards
- Support site review and approval for new stores with the development department
Requirements:
- Experience or capability to work cross-functionally with marketing, training, R&D/SCM, finance, development, and quality control teams
- Ability to support international franchisees in the UK
- Ability to analyze monthly P&Ls and cash flow performance
- Ability to evaluate investments and cost-effectiveness
- Ability to review business plans, sales, market share, profitability, financial stability, customer satisfaction, management depth, people practices, and related business practices
- Ability to coordinate pre-opening preparations, training, equipment, resources, and compliance activities
- Ability to inspect stores and ensure compliance with company standards
