Job Description
Front End Developer specializing in Adobe Commerce at Valtech. Responsible for participating in all project phases and improving software quality alongside other teams.
Responsibilities:
- To participate in the whole project lifecycle (Analysis, Design, Construction and Support phases)
- To participate on development conventions and standards definition.
- To work together with other teams in order to improve software quality at all levels (Devops, Architecture, Quality Assurance, Business Analysis).
- To help junior level teammates to develop their skills.
- To improve current code quality by continuous refactor, unit testing and monitoring code quality metrics.
- To participate on agile ceremonies (Daily meetings, Planning Retrospective)
- To participate in user stories estimations
- To participate in the code review process.
Requirements:
- Strong experience with Adobe Commerce (certification is a plus)
- Solid knowledge of JavaScript (JS)
- Understanding of Front-End Optimization Best Practices (CWV – Core Web Vitals)
- English Advanced
- Experience with React or similar frameworks (nice to have)
- Spanish proficiency (nice to have)
