Job Description
Full-Stack Engineer developing scalable web applications for Sortitt's innovative resource marketplace. Collaborating with teams to design, implement, and optimize modern web technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Next.js, React, Node.js, and other modern web technologies.
- Implement RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL endpoints for seamless frontend-backend communication.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
- Optimize application performance for speed, responsiveness, and scalability.
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to turn product ideas into reality.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
- Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, performance issues, and production incidents.
Requirements:
- Fluency in English (mandatory).
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, with a solid understanding of ES6+.
- Expertise in React.js and Next.js frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with Node.js and backend development.
- Familiarity with RESTful API design and integration.
- Experience with database technologies like MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- Knowledge of version control tools like Git.
- Experience with modern frontend tooling (Webpack, Babel, etc.).
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Vercel, Heroku) is a plus.
- Experience with TypeScript.
- Knowledge of authentication/authorization protocols (JWT, OAuth).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Exposure to testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Cypress).
