Job Description
Full Stack Software Developer developing scalable web applications for Future's technology team. Collaborating on both new projects and enhancing existing platforms with modern web development practices.
Responsibilities:
- Work as part of Future's Platform Team, collaborating closely with Technology & Engineering.
- Ensure delivery of scalable, well-structured, efficient web applications and components.
- Manage scoping and planning of new software components, refactor existing code, and build new services and products.
- Focus on building high-quality, performant UI components for Future's proprietary Vanilla platform.
- Ensure code is well-scoped, documented, tested, and production-ready, including bug tracing and fixing.
Requirements:
- Modern web development skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript, including knowledge of CSS/JS internals and modern build systems.
- Experience building performant, accessible UI components from scratch using modern JavaScript frameworks, with a focus on standards and consistency.
- Experience with full-stack development, including working with APIs, databases, and languages such as PHP, TypeScript, and/or Go.
- Experience with performance optimisation and tooling, including browser dev tools, flame graphs, Git, and debugging techniques.
- Comfortable working in modern delivery environments, including CI/CD
