Job Description

General Manager owning AdGem’s Southeast Asia growth strategy and strategic partnerships. Driving ad monetization revenue across mobile, fintech, loyalty, and digital ecosystems.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and execute AdGem's commercial growth strategy across Southeast Asia, using Singapore as a potential regional base
  • Build pipeline and close partnerships throughout surrounding Southeast Asian markets
  • Identify, develop, negotiate, and close strategic partnerships across mobile publishing, loyalty, fintech, rewarded advertising, and digital ecosystems
  • Own regional pipeline, revenue growth, forecasting, and overall commercial performance
  • Build and maintain senior-level relationships with key partners and decision-makers across Southeast Asia
  • Represent AdGem at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events
  • Provide market intelligence and strategic recommendations to AdAction leadership on opportunities, competition, and regional trends
  • Partner with internal product, operations, and account management teams to ensure successful launches and long-term partner growth
  • Help shape the infrastructure, partnerships, and resources needed to scale AdGem's Southeast Asia business
  • Serve as the senior commercial representative for AdGem across Southeast Asia
  • Spend approximately 50–75% of the time in-market for partner meetings, conferences, and industry events

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, enterprise sales, general management, or commercial leadership within ad tech, mobile advertising, digital media, fintech, loyalty, or a related industry
  • Proven track record of building revenue and strategic partnerships across Southeast Asia, with experience selling into multiple SEA markets
  • Proven experience selling or developing ad monetization solutions, rewarded advertising products, offerwalls, or comparable performance-based monetization models
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage and close complex commercial partnerships
  • Strong understanding of performance marketing and ad tech economics, including CPI, eCPM, ARPDAU, retention, LTV, and monetization
  • Entrepreneurial, self-directed, and comfortable operating with significant autonomy
  • Excellent executive communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Fluency in English is required
  • Proficiency in Mandarin and Cantonese is required
  • One or more Southeast Asian languages is strongly preferred
  • Willingness to travel extensively throughout Southeast Asia, approximately 50–75% of the time
  • Comfortable operating as an independent contractor/consultant
  • Responsible for applicable local registrations, taxes, insurance, and other obligations associated with independent contractor status
