Job Description

Head of Recruitment scaling talent acquisition for Mercuryo, a crypto and fintech platform. Leading recruiters, executive searches, global hiring strategy, budgets, metrics, and candidate experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the recruitment strategy and function end-to-end, from workforce planning and sourcing to offer negotiation and onboarding
  • Lead and develop a team of recruiters, setting standards, coaching on execution, and owning team performance
  • Personally lead searches for Senior, Head, and Director-level roles, managing complex, high-stakes hiring processes end-to-end
  • Act as a trusted advisor to C-level stakeholders, shaping role strategy, presenting market insights, and influencing hiring decisions
  • Partner with hiring managers across functions to define hiring needs and build a scalable, repeatable pipeline process
  • Own sourcing strategy across the team, including headhunting, networking, and community engagement
  • Own the hiring budget and forecasting, plan headcount and cost-per-hire, track spend against plan, and report on budget performance to leadership
  • Define and own core recruitment metrics, using them to drive decisions and continuously improve the function
  • Own the candidate experience end-to-end and continuously improve it across the hiring funnel

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in full-cycle recruitment, including at least 2 years leading a recruitment team within fintech or Web3
  • Proven track record building and scaling a recruitment function
  • Experience hiring across global markets, including EU, US, and APAC
  • Understanding of regional hiring practices, compensation benchmarks, and compliance nuances
  • Proven ability to source and attract top talent through creative and strategic methods
  • Experience partnering with hiring managers and senior/executive leadership to drive hiring initiatives
  • Experience owning a hiring budget and forecasting headcount/cost across multiple teams
  • Strong command of recruitment metrics and reporting, including defining KPIs, building dashboards, and using data to influence leadership decisions
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence at all levels
  • Data-driven approach to recruitment, with experience using ATS and other HR tools and building reporting/dashboards
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote-first environment and lead others through ambiguity
  • English proficiency C1
  • Active use of AI tools in day-to-day work, including sourcing, outreach, candidate assessment, and pipeline management
