Job Description
Head of Sales managing global sales strategies for web hosting services. Leading distributed teams and driving revenue growth through customer acquisition and expansion.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and develop Sales Team Leads and their distributed teams across multiple locations and time zones
- Define and execute the commercial strategy across multiple brands, driving both customer expansion and new customer acquisition
- Identify, evaluate, and pursue new market opportunities, customer segments, partnerships, and revenue channels
- Develop and test scalable go-to-market motions, prospecting strategies, and sales initiatives that drive sustainable growth
- Partner closely with Marketing to align demand generation, content, campaigns, lead nurturing, and pipeline development efforts
- Build and optimize sales processes, playbooks, documentation, scripts, and enablement programs that improve consistency and scalability
- Establish KPIs, forecasting processes, and performance metrics to drive accountability and informed decision-making
- Collaborate with Customer Success and Account Management teams to maximize customer lifetime value and product adoption
- Delegate ownership and execution responsibilities to Team Leads while maintaining visibility into performance, priorities, and outcomes
- Drive alignment across teams through regular business reviews, performance discussions, and follow-up on key initiatives
- Analyze market trends, customer insights, and sales performance to continuously refine strategy and execution
- Serve as a hands-on leader who can contribute to strategic initiatives while empowering teams to execute independently
- Support other tasks or projects as assigned to meet team and business needs
Requirements:
- 8+ years of sales experience, including leadership responsibilities within technology, SaaS, hosting, cloud, digital services, or related industries
- Proven track record of developing and executing sales strategies that generate net-new business while growing revenue within existing customer accounts
- Experience leading distributed sales teams across multiple geographies and time zones
- Strong understanding of outbound sales, prospecting, pipeline development, lead generation, customer acquisition, and account growth strategies
- Experience identifying and developing new market opportunities, customer segments, partner channels, or go-to-market motions
- Demonstrated ability to build scalable sales processes, playbooks, frameworks, and performance management systems
- Experience partnering closely with Marketing on demand generation, content strategy, lead nurturing, campaign execution, and revenue growth initiatives
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify opportunities, prioritize initiatives, and execute effectively
- Comfortable balancing strategic leadership with hands-on execution
- Experience with CRM platforms such as Zoho CRM, Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar tools
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to drive decisions, improve performance, and forecast results
- Excellent communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and highly driven, with a passion for building and scaling successful sales organizations
- Experience in the web hosting, cloud services, digital infrastructure, or related technology sectors is strongly preferred
