Job Description
Head of Strategy & Operations running Latitude’s payments fintech operating cadence, teams, and executive workstreams. Driving analysis and execution directly with the CEO.
Responsibilities:
- Report directly to the CEO and serve as a strategic partner
- Run company planning, goals, and weekly/monthly operating cadence
- Ensure decisions are made, documented, and executed; automate processes where possible
- Manage customer support, product operations, and compliance operations teams
- Own service levels, staffing, tooling, and escalation paths as transaction volume grows
- Prepare board decks, investor updates, all-hands materials, and executive meeting preparation
- Own CEO-assigned problems end-to-end
- Analyze corridor economics, pricing, partner performance, build-versus-buy decisions, and market entry
- Partner with product on prioritization, market sizing, and competitive positioning
- Connect customer feedback from operations with engineering priorities
Requirements:
- 8+ years across strategy and operations: business operations, strategy and ops, general management, or a senior generalist role reporting directly to a founder or CEO at a high-growth company
- Track record of execution on messy, cross-functional work
- Direct people management experience with operational teams, including setting service levels and hiring
- Analytical rigor; comfort owning data, using SQL or equivalent, and building spreadsheet models without an analyst layer
- Ability to write board-quality memos and build sophisticated investor decks
- Payments, fintech, or crypto context, including settlement, FX, or licensing
- Comfort working in regulated environments
- Experience at a small, fast-moving company and willingness to perform hands-on operational work
